🚪 Fit the Exit

A building holds a fixed number of people. Exit capacity comes in discrete width units, not a smooth ramp — find the minimum exit width that legally clears everyone. One unit too narrow, and the calculation says people are stuck. Simple geometry, real design logic.

Building

Each 50 cm of exit width clears 50 people.

🎯 Goal: find the narrowest width that still clears all 320 people — every extra 50cm beyond that is unused capacity.
This is a simplified, universal egress-capacity model (width ÷ unit-width × people-per-unit) — the same basic logic used, with different specific numbers and additional rules, by real building codes worldwide (e.g. this platform's Turkish escape-route calculator uses the actual Planlı Alanlar İmar Yönetmeliği Ek-5B table). This game is for building intuition about discrete capacity steps, not a substitute for a real code-compliant egress calculation.
