Formwork Area Take-Off
Contact surface area of formwork by member type. Beam sides are measured below the slab soffit and slab edges are included, so no surface is counted twice and none is dropped.

Method
ColumnA = perimeter × height = 2(width+depth) × height. Intersections with beams and slabs are not deducted — the usual site convention, and conservative.
BeamA = 2 × (depth − slab thickness) × length + width × length. The side height is the drop below the slab soffit, not the full depth: a beam cast monolithically with a slab is only formed where it projects below it. Using the full depth over-measures a 500 mm beam under a 120 mm slab by about 23%.
SlabA = soffit + free-edge band − beam soffit already counted. The edge band (perimeter × thickness) is easy to forget and is worth roughly 5–15% of a typical floor plate. Enter D to remove the strips that the beams in this panel already carry, otherwise those strips are billed twice.
WallA = faces × height × length + ends × thickness × height. Set D = 1 for a wall cast against earth or an existing face.
ConfidenceLevel A — contact-area geometry. No national standard fixes these areas, and no code coefficient is used. Measurement conventions do differ between contracts; check yours before pricing.
Take-off tool for ordering and cost estimation. Openings, chamfers and panel modularity are not deducted or optimised — adjust manually if needed.
