Structural Steel Takeoff — AISC Shapes (U.S.)

Member list by AISC designation: weight taken from the designation for W, HP, M, S, C, MC and tee shapes; entered for angles, HSS and pipe. Totals by shape, allowance for connections, pounds and short tons. CSI MasterFormat 05 12 00.

Members

The allowance is project-specific (connection material, base plates, miscellaneous steel); no default is assumed. Angle, round HSS and pipe weights must come from the AISC Manual. Square and rectangular HSS weight uses the NOMINAL wall — AISC B4.2's 0.93 design wall applies to section properties, not to weight.
